Hi, I’m Ashlyn!

Meet Your Instructor,
Ashlyn Douglass-Barnes, LCSW

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a qualified supervisor in the state of Florida, and a bariatric patient.

I’ve worked in just about every type of social work arena from court-ordered drug treatment, to dialysis, to community-based outpatient centers. Along with having worked in the trenches for most of my career, I’ve also experienced bariatric surgery first hand.

This is what drove me to learn how to conduct pre-surgical bariatric psychological evaluations, however, I struggled to find comprehensive training. So, I set out to create it myself.

After many years of research, I’ve compiled all of my knowledge and experience into a streamlined training program that equips you with everything you need to succeed.
